WELCOME TO DANCE + DONATE
Making a Positive Impact In A Positively Fabulous Way!
Thank you so much for visiting me at Dance + Donate! I run Dance and Hula Hooping classes and events, online and in person. All proceeds go to Ambitious About Autism, a national Charity supporting children and young adults with autism, Cherry Trees, a fantastic respite care home in Surrey and South Downs Special Needs School in Eastbourne where I volunteer, working with fabulous staff to help support wonderful children. I chose all these charities because they have helped us so so much on our journey with our wonderful son Leo, who is profoundly autistic. I would so love for you to join me for one of my Dance and Donate classes, which are available On Demand and on Zoom! Classes are for everyone of every age and fitness ability - just join in with as much or as little as you can and most importantly remember to always Dance Yourself Fabulous!

Ambitious About Autism
Ambitious About Autism is a UK national charity which aims to improve opportunities for young people on the autism spectrum. Originally established in 1997 as the TreeHouse Trust, the charity was founded by a group of parents - including author Nick Hornby, whose first child was diagnosed with autism.
Their mission is to help children and young people with autism to learn, thrive and achieve - making the ordinary possible.
We see this every day as our son Leo is at an Ambitious About Autism College, St John's in Brighton. He is truly learning, thriving and achieving there, every day in every way, and we are so grateful to all the wonderful staff there who help him so much. Leo is truly becoming his best self due to all the specialist support and kindness he is given at St Johns.
Cherry Trees Respite Care
Cherry Trees Respite Care provides home from home care for children with complex disabilities and a meaningful break for their families across Surrey and the surrounding areas. For us, Cherry Trees were nothing short of a lifesaver. Leo was out of school for a year while we went through a Tribunal after he was excluded from school. At that time, he was exhibiting extremely challenging behaviour and it was a very hard time for Leo and all the family. Cherry Trees were amazing and supported us every step of the way - Leo spent a week there in every month that he was at home, which gave us such a break and a chance to recharge. All the staff were so kind and so supportive and we are eternally grateful to them.
South Downs Special Needs School
Dance and Donate also proudly supports South Downs Special Needs School in Eastbourne. The school supports young children with autism, speech and language difficulties and complex needs. The School is graded as Outstanding by Ofsted due to the exceptional quality of education and care they provide. I volunteer there twice a week and am training to be an Intensive Interaction therapist to help support children with their communication skills. It is such a pleasure for me to work with all the fabulous staff supporting these incredible children who have so many challenges in their lives.
Thank you so much from all the staff, children and families at South Downs for helping support Dance and Donate
